About encoder / decoder LiveServer LsBox
LiveServer LsBox is a server for transmitting video to remote site via intranet / internet by compressing
video / voice data into compact sizes by KAM, our own video compression technology (patented).
Possible to materialize high functionality next generation video monitoring system by applying LsBox
for establishing variety of systems.
Conventional camera monitoring system / TV system had been restricted by relatively short distance
from camera to monitoring center, and its major applications are for completion of playback / saving /
monitoring jobs within a certain area, however, the system employing LsBox enables monitoring at
multiple sites by transmitting digitized high resolution video signal through network as long as it is
connected to intranet / internet even though encoder sites are distributed.
"Capability of establishing flexible monitoring system", this is the major feature of LsBox.
Highly reputed for remarkable cost cutting due to video file size reduction by low load on network by
high compression rate.

Generally the bandwidth for transmitting high quality video through web camera network is said to be around 8-10 Mbps, and only approx. 5 sets web camera can be connected to 1 LAN cable (100Mbs), however, as LsBox, employing KAM method, has 0.6-3 Mbps bandwidth and possible to
connect over 30 sets web camera.
Further, with control function, possible to control remote shutter, air conditioner, lighting, etc.,
by watching video.
Good for building / factory monitoring system, security camera shopping avenue / school area,
TV conference with remote site, distribution of education scene video, etc.
It is widely applied to variety of use.
No mismatching problems of camera as long as it is through NTSC output.
(In the case of PTZ control, restricted to models compliant with client software.)
