About KAM codec (KAM compression)
High video quality/high compression core technologyspecializing on camera monitoring
At transmitting video through network, general compression method will cause missing data
when exceeding the network capacity due to the attempt to transmit defined data forcibly by encoder.
For this reason it is necessary to prepare very large network capacity to prevent from missing data,
for the system with many cameras.
As KAM is the method to request video data against client (PC for display), waits until receiving data
and one request is completed, not requesting for next video, no chance for network overflow.
Besides due to high compression rate the load to network is reduced remarkably.
KAM is the optimum video compression method for large scale monitoring system to transmit videos
by some tens - hundreds of cameras.
